Three Primes are introduced by the great alchemist Paracelsus. According to him the inner essence of every object in the cosmos is Tria Prima. They are spiritual substances. Mercury represents transformation, Sulfur binding and Salt solidification. Also Mercury is Spirit, Sulfur is the Soul and Salt is the Body for humans.

Below the pyramid there is an alchemical circle, an approach to the philosopher’s stone.
